Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Overview
MyBilr ("we", "us", or "our") provides invoicing software for freelancers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built MyBilr to help you manage invoices — not to monetize your personal data.
Our commitment
- No advertising use. We do not use your account data, client lists, invoice content, or billing details to serve ads or build advertising profiles.
- No selling your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to data brokers or marketers.
- No sharing for third-party marketing. We do not give your information to third parties for their own promotional purposes.
- Service-only processing. We use your data only to operate MyBilr — account access, invoicing, email delivery, subscriptions, and support.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use MyBilr, we may collect:
- Account information — name, email address, password (stored hashed), and profile details you provide.
- Business data you enter — client names and contact details, invoice line items, amounts, currencies, email templates, and automation settings.
- Payment & bank details — bank account labels and payment information you choose to display on invoices. Sensitive bank fields are encrypted in our database (see Security below).
- Billing information — plan selection and payment status when you subscribe. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and similar logs needed for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Support communications — messages you send us through support channels.
How we use your information
We use the information above solely to:
- Create and manage your account
- Generate, store, and deliver invoices you create
- Send invoice emails and track delivery events (sent, delivered, opened, clicked) when you use that feature
- Run recurring invoice automations you configure
- Process subscription payments and manage your plan
- Respond to support requests and protect the security of the platform
- Comply with legal obligations when required
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted infrastructure partners strictly to deliver the service. They process data on our instructions and only for the purposes described in this policy — not for their own advertising.
- Email delivery — to send invoice and account emails you initiate
- Payment processing — to handle subscription checkout and billing
- Hosting & security — to run the application securely and prevent abuse (including bot protection on login and registration)
- Customer support — to provide live chat assistance when you contact us
These providers may process limited personal data as subprocessors. We require them to protect your information and use it only to perform services for MyBilr.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit — connections to MyBilr use HTTPS/TLS.
- Encryption at rest for sensitive fields — bank account numbers and SWIFT/BIC codes you store in MyBilr are encrypted in our database using industry-standard encryption.
- Password protection — passwords are hashed; we never store plain-text passwords.
- Access controls — your invoice and client data is scoped to your account and not visible to other users.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Data retention & deletion
We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account from Profile settings, which removes your account and associated data from our active systems, subject to any legal retention requirements (for example, billing records we must keep for compliance).
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access or update the personal information in your account
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
To exercise these rights, contact us at no-reply@avesoft.io.
Children
MyBilr is intended for freelancers and business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of MyBilr after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Your use of MyBilr is also governed by our Terms of Service.
